Michael will be playing the part of Ebenezer Scrooge in the Nevada Conservatory Theatre's production of A Christmas Carol in December.
Performances are Dec. 2, 3, 8, 9, 10, 15, 16, and 17 at 8 p.m., and Dec. 4, 11, and 18 at 2 p.m.

Been a long time and there's some new stuff coming up soon, but in the meanwhile the website has been updated with a new section found in the naviagtion bar. All messages Michael has sent can now be found under Notes from Michael.
Michael will be performing in the Nevada Conservatory Theatre's production of Noises Off. Performances are at 8 p.m. on April 29, 30, and May 5, 6, and 7, with matinees at 2 p.m. on May 1 and 8.
Photo gallery has been updated. Michael also did another appearance on the Vegas Voice radio show and talked about the Nevada Conservatory Theatre. You can listen and download at here.

New World Zorro has been released on DVD this week after a long wait and is available on Amazon.com. Michael starred in the first two seasons which can be purchased individually or in a box set containing all four seasons.
The Fantasticks opens tonight at the Nevada Conservatory Theatre in Las Vegas and Michael will be performing in the role of The Old Actor. More on The Fantasticks here.

Michael will be appearing in Fantasticks at the Nevada Conservatory Theatre in Las Vegas. Performances at 8 pm on Jan 28 & 29, Feb 3, 4 & 5, and 2 pm Sunday matinees on Jan 30 and Feb 6.
The official release date for the New World Zorro series is January 25, 2011. More information can be found at Zorro Productions website and pre-orders can be placed on Amazon.com. Michael appeared in seasons 1 and 2 which will be available for purchase separately or in box set including the entire 4-season series. The complete set includes a bonus disc The Zorro Archives.
After sending you our news about a baby coming into our lives, we are saddened to say we had a miscarriage on Sunday evening. Of course, we will remain positive and try again. Our Doctor is amazing and assures us and says there is no reason why we shouldn't still have little ones. So God willing, we will have a family on His time and in the meantime we are thankful for all your prayers, good thoughts and support.

I can't believe that another year has gone by, and it's the Holiday Season once again. A lot has happened to Rachelle and me over the past year. First of all we were married January the 10th, so the year signaled a new beginning for us. We hoped it would do the same for all of you.
In February after having a wonderful Valentine's Day, Rachelle started work as the choreographer on the play Musical of Musicals The Musical. She received rave notices for her work, and I was very proud! Read more...

The Nevada Conservatory Theatre at UNLV opens its first production of the 2010-11 season with Sam Shepard's "Fool For Love" at 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 17 in the Judy Bayley Theatre. Michael will be playing the part of The Old Man.

Zorro Productions Inc is working to finally release the 1990's New World Zorro TV series on DVD. Michael starred in the first two seasons as Alcalde Luis Ramone. Bonus materials are being put together, and they will include, among other things, the never before seen pilot episode of the series. The release will be through A&E Video sometime in December. We are very sad to report that Michael's father Edward has passed away. The following was just posted on the SAG Actor blog.
"Our fellow actor and Yellow Rose Academy instructor, Michael Tylo, is leaving for Detroit tonight due to the passing away of his father, and as a result of that tragic event his mother has suffered a heart attack. We do not know at this moment how long Michael will be away tending to family issues but please join David and I in keeping the Tylo's in our thoughts and prayers as they deal with this family tragedy. -Terri Lynn"

On Sunday January 10 2010, Rachelle Reichert, my long time fiancée, gave me her hand in marriage at the Roman Catholic Newman Center on the campus of UNLV in Las Vegas. It was a small, intimate and beautiful ceremony and the happiest day of my life. When we receive pictures we, of course, will send them to you through the site. Thank you for your support and prayers over the years and we hope God will bless you as He has blessed us.

To celebrate the occasion, I have made some new additions:
Most importantly, Michael answered some questions regarding the characters he's played. Check out our new Character Q&A, done exclusively for the site.
The navigation bar has undergone some changes. Articles and screen caps are now found under Media, which is also where you will find a permanent link to our video gallery. Characters is the brand new section of the site, which will feature brief character descriptions. There aren't many yet, but more will be added in the future.
Michael appeared in a short film that was shot a few years ago and has been screened at the Santa Monica Film Festival, for example. The film has now been made available for everyone to download legally free of charge at http://www.digiworldmovies.com/out.htm. If you want to download Michael's scene only, I have it available for you right here (Quicktime, about 10 MB).
Michael's new play, Ragtown, opens next Thursday. Added a small news piece abuot it on the feature page.

Updated The Gamester -page with reviews and a picture. Michael's birthday is on Sunday, so we have put up a contest in celebration of that at the Quint & Nola Homepage.

Most important: We got a word from Michael. He's currently in rehearsal of a new play which will open at the end of September. I will post more about it as soon as I find out something. Michael will also continue teaching at the UNLV.
I updated the credits list with a new section for short films.
A few articles have been added: "The Return of Michael Tylo" from 1986, "Fitting Image" from 1994 and I also created a page for the interview located on the Henry IV page. "Some Fatherly Tips from King Henry, er, Michael Tylo" from 2005 can be found here.
You can now test drive a Video Gallery of sorts.
The webmaster accidentally learned how to make video clips from DVDs. You know that can mean only one thing - a video section is in the plans. An early preview of what may be coming here.

Added two articles: The Quinessential Gothic Look and Ashley And Blade Come To A Decision
Lots of changes have taken place. Here are the main ones:
Semi-new design: The webmaster got a new toy called Photoshop and decided to try it out. As a result, the layout of the site a bit more graphic-based. The colors and other basic features are the same, but the overall appearance is much cooler in my opinion.
Main navigation: The navigation bar went through some changes. FAQ and Contact are now found under our new site section which also has some general information about the site.
Site section: The site section includes some general facts about the site and its webmaster, contact information, FAQ, a new sitemap, and a search engine.
Contact form: The most convenient way to get in touch with the webmaster is the new contact form.
FAQ: I updated the FAQ. The page functions a bit differently, a few questions have been added, and some answers have been edited.
Screen caps: I have enhanced most of the screen caps and removed the ones that were the most poor in quality. Also a few new ones from Guiding Light and The Young And The Restless have been added. I also noticed that the link They Are Among Us got lost for some reason. It is now back up.
Michael will be performing at the Pennsylvania Shakespeare festival this summer. More info can be found here. In the spirit of this piece of news, I added the article Moor The Merrier from 1996 about his performance as Iago.
