Thank you all for your prayers, good wishes, condolences, and support
for me and my family during this very difficult time. Mickey was a
special guy who loved life, his sisters and brother very much. He was a
good son and since we spent his last year of high school living
together, we became very close and I thank God for this.
Mickey was a compassionate and courageous individual who was loyal to
friends and hated injustice to his fellow man. He would stand up for
what he thought, and even if you disagreed with him, you always knew
where he stood. He had a great sense of humor that bordered on the
cynical and bizarre. The night before he left us, Mickey, his brother
Chris and I had dinner and Mickey told stories, jokes and generally
entertained his brother and me. I sat there and listened, laughed and
felt so proud of my sons and how God had blessed me with them both.
Chris left to pick up his girlfriend from work and Mickey and I had
coffee together. He told me of his plans for the future and I noticed
how focused and passionate he was. I thought to myself that through all
the seizures and other things that had affected his life, Mickey was
more than okay. When we parted that night, he hugged me and told me he
loved me. He didn't do it out of habit, but as someone who really meant
it. I loved him so much and I always will.
Again, thank you and may God bless you and keep you always and in all
ways,
Michael Tylo
