Hmmm...I just might. I handle the technical side. In other words, I don't really produce new content, I only put it up. My title there is Webmaster.

I try to put up news I hear about Michael as soon as possible, and add other new material as time permits.

I did. Some of them were made using a digital camera (not the best possible screen capture device) and some were made using the screen capture function in PowerDVD.
Why are some of the screen caps so poor in quality? Why do some have dates on them? What are those silly white texts? [back to top]
I took some of them with a digital camera so the quality is, admittedly, poor sometimes. I recently enhanced almost every screen cap manually by adjusting the brightness and saturation. There are still some odd reflections on some screen caps, and it would be very time-consuming trying to fix them. The screen capture quality is also affected by the quality and age of my tapes/DVDs.
Some caps have dates on them because I simply forgot to turn off the automatic dating in my camera. The ones captured with PowerDVD do not have dates.
Those silly white texts are called subtitles. Foreign shows are subtitled in Finnish here. I try to capture shots that do not have subtitles on them, or simply leave the subtitles out, but sometimes they are there no matter what I do. It's annoying, I know. Maybe you can use them to learn a few lines of Finnish and impress me ;)
Why don't you have screen caps from [enter show here]? [back to top]
There are two possible reasons:
1. I don't have scenes from the show/movie on tapes or DVDs and therefore cannot screen cap them. See if you can help me obtain more scenes.
2. I simply haven't had time to make screen caps or I've experienced some technical difficulties with color formats or area codes. Reason #1 is more likely, though.

Yes, on three conditions: 1. Inform me first, I want to know what site you will be using them on. 2. Don't steal my bandwidth, save the pics your site. 3. Do not claim the caps to be your own, but give credit where credit is due. A link back to my site would be much appreciated, although not required. A simple acknowledgement will do.

I guess so, since they're not mine. I'd like to know where you'll be using them, though. Transcribing the articles is a lot of work, so I wouldn't mind a link back to my site. Contact me if you want to use some of the articles.

Sure there is. You can send me articles I don't have (copies, scans and transcriptions are all fine - they just need to be clear enough so I can read them).
I would also be very interested in obtaining tapes/DVDs of shows I don't have. My current collection icludes the following:
Quint, Guiding Light - I have quite a lot. Go to Quint & Nola Homepage to see what we're missing.
Blade/Rick, The Young And The Restless - I have a part of the twin kidnapping storyline and also the last scenes with Blade's death and Rick showing up.
Alcalde Luis Ramon, Zorro - I have all Michael's episodes.
Sherman Gale, B&B - I have all scenes from Michael's appearance in BB. I would be interested in a subtitle-free copy, though.
Movies - Race To Space, Detroit 9000, They Are Among Us, Longshot, Deep Water (Intrepid), Vegas - City Of Dreams and the Lonesome Dove mini series
Miscellaneous - clips from Emmy Awards in the 80s, a short interview with him and Lisa Brown from GL days, Price Is Right from the 80s and a tiny clip from AMC which doesn't play that well in my VCR.
