Michael Tylo
The early '80s saw a young Tylo appear in CBS's Guiding Light soap opera as the dashing Quinton "Quint" Chamberlain. A quarter century and heaps of TV, film and stage roles later, he's ours as a full-time UNLV professor of film and theater. Recent stage productions of Twelfth Night, The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie and Come Back, Little Sheba (all from Nevada Conservatory Theatre) were boosted in a big way by Tylo's slow-burning presence and easy leaps into character -- exactly what it takes to make a skeptical audience forget they're sitting in a house of lies.
